Fighting food stains like ketchup

Kids love ketchup, but it doesn’t taste so good on their clothes! A general tip to remember is to wet the stain with normal water or soda water from the reverse side of the garment as soon as you notice the mark. Pouring from the reverse side ensures you’re not driving the stain deeper into the fabric. Also, it’s wise to take action before the stain dries and use warm water – not hot water – in the process. Avoid scrubbing the garment as it may lead to setting the stain deeper into the fabric. The right way is to dab the stain. Once the stain has faded out, wash with Surf excel to get fresh looking unsoiled garments.

Fighting ink stains

– Dab with a clean cloth to soak up excess liquid, take care to avoid spreading the stain.
– Apply Surf excel Liquid Detergent on the stain and allow it to stand for 15 minutes.
– Again dab with a clean cloth and you’ll see most of the ink comes off.
– Continue the normal washing process.
– For stubborn stains, using rubbing alcohol on the stain can work wonders!

Fighting mud stains

The most important way to deal with muddy garments is to let the mud dry out. Scrape off as much as possible at this stage. Then attack the stain with rubbing alcohol on a sponge and wash with water. Then clean it with Dhoom Detergent.
